The money
There is no deposit to begin planning, and nothing is booked until you say yes. Drafts, revisions and re-quotes are free. After that, money changes hands at set points, and each is in the published booking terms before you pay.

The day you accept
The journey is confirmed when the deposit reaches the team, and the written confirmation follows with the day-by-day plan. If your journey begins in less than 45 days, it is paid in full at confirmation instead.

45 days before the first day
The rest falls due 45 days before your first day of travel, by bank transfer or card. The team writes before it falls due, and if a card provider adds a charge, you are told the amount before you pay rather than afterward.

Paying safely
Bank details are not published on the site and are not changed during a booking. If a message seems to come from the team and asks you to pay somewhere new, or to hurry, stop and call +91 86178 24110 before sending anything.

If you cancel
There is no single cancellation percentage. Each house's policy is written into your quote before you pay and applies as at the date the team tells it. The planning fee inside your price is not refundable once a journey is confirmed.

If a road fails
When a landslide, a grounded flight or a declined permit breaks a day, the journey is rearranged with no fee from the team, and only any difference in supplier costs is passed on. Nobody is charged a cancellation fee for weather.

What may not come back
A permit fee already filed, a non-refundable air ticket and Bhutan's Sustainable Development Fee usually stay spent; whether any of the fee returns is Bhutan's decision. Refunds go back the way they came: to the same account or the same card.

Tell us early
If you think you may have to cancel, say so the day you think it, not the day you are certain: a single day can change what a house charges. Insurance with cancellation cover is the protection every guest is asked to hold.
